Atherectomy System Translation – Project Brief:

We were commissioned by a leading medical device manufacturer to complete a medical device translation of their atherectomy system’s documentation. An atherectomy system is a catheter-based angioplasty device that uses a diamond-coated elliptical burr at the tip of a flexible drive to clear coronary arteries. The atherectomy system translation project required a common technical documents (CTD) translation of over 7,000 words of content from English into Polish in three days.

We utilized a standard translation workflow process of translation + review + QA. In order to ensure maximum accuracy, a second QA process double checked all text prior to delivery. The CTD translation covered device description, indication of use, limitations and restrictions, warnings, clinical use instructions, and symbol descriptions.

Upon delivery, our client was happy with the level of quality and the rapid turnaround time.
