Sophie Murphy Joins Argos Multilingual as Chief Transformation Officer
Argos Multilingual is happy to have Sophie Murphy on board as our Chief Transformation Officer, as of May 2020. Sophie’s role will be to create and promote cross-functional performance initiatives. During her first few months at Argos, she plans to focus on process and workflow improvements that will support the digital transformation journey of our clients, while also driving specific initiatives related to quality and machine learning.
She comes to Argos Multilingual from the position of Director of Vendor Management at LanguageWire. Before that, she was at Xplanation, as country manager for France, the UK, and the USA. Her education includes an MA in Languages from Université Paris Nanterre.
“I’m delighted to be joining Argos,” says Sophie. “In the past few weeks, I have already experienced firsthand the teams’ enthusiasm and hard work as well as the drive for innovation that is behind the company’s success. And of course, I’m very lucky to get a chance to work with (CEO) Véronique Özkaya again!”
Véronique herself had this to say: “With Sophie as our Chief Transformation Officer, Argos has brought on a highly capable leader driving our transformation initiatives. Sophie will propel the organization forward and hold accountable the teams responsible for the actions and initiatives that make up our programs. Having known Sophie for many years, I have great trust in how she will inspire her colleagues and act as a role model for the behavior needed to encourage and embed change.”
