New client, new terms – Glossary 101
The initial setup of a glossary will directly impact downstream processes, from translation and revision to the QA phase and in-country review. This session will focus on best practices for monolingual aspects of glossary creation based on a client’s source documents, from defining metadata fields and their input to parsing source text for suitable term candidates using term and phrase extraction methods and tools. The session will conclude with tips for QA checks of bilingual or multilingual source-target termbases.
